First Data Utilities appoints Chris Warrington President


MIAMI - April 11, 2007 - Electronic commerce and payments leader First Data Corp. (NYSE:FDC) has appointed Chris Warrington to be president of First Data Utilities. The company, part of First Data Financial Institution Services, is a global outsourcer of utility billing and payment transaction services.

Warrington joined First Data with the acquisition of Peace Software and has played a critical role in the success of both Peace and First Data Utilities. He was with Peace Software for more than four years, joining as vice president of services, and later assumed responsibility for research and development as well. Warrington was executive vice president of global customer services at Peace before it was acquired by First Data. Prior to joining Peace, Warrington held senior executive roles with Descartes Systems Group, Cintra Software and Services (a New York-based system integrator) and was a senior director with Oracle Australasia.
